Proper Posture for Your Spine!

Does your body feel strained and painful? Are your bones, muscles and joints hurting or feeling tense? Maybe it’s work. Maybe it’s a sickness. Maybe it’s your posture – most likely.
Yes, your posture can seriously affect you. When your body is out of alignment, your spine suffers along with the rest of your body. Your spine and your nervous system go hand in hand; your nervous system and your cells, tissues and organs go hand in hand, also. Here are some things that your poor posture can cause or contribute to:
  • Wear and tear on your joints and your spine

  • Chronic back, neck and shoulder pain

Getting your spine aligned and in healthy condition can do so much for your body! Good posture helps your spine remain in or get back to its optimal position. Keep your head straight, with your ears and shoulders aligned, and then place your eyes on the horizon. Next, keep your hips and your ankles aligned, while you evenly distribute your weight on both your feet. Also, remember to keep your feet parallel and hip-width apart. Finally, relax your arms by your sides. Practice this and see the difference it makes for your body.
