Digestive Issues

Resolve Your Digestive Issues

  • Try eating right. Eating whole, unprocessed food is a great step. Eat more greens fruits, nuts, seeds or lean meats and try leaving dairy, corn, soy, eggs, yeast and gluten from your diet for a week. See if your condition improves.

  • Try adding supplements to your regular diet. Some supplements are good for converting the food you eat into the materials your body must use for fuel. Others are good for replenishing the colony of “good” or “friendly” bacteria inside you.

  • Try stressing less: Stress is never good for your body, including your digestive system. Chronic stress can cause a real strain on your body: it “can lead to decreased nutrient absorption, decreased blood flow to your gut, decreased metabolism and reduced production of the enzymes needed for digestion.”

  • Try chiropractic adjustments: Keep in mind that all your cells, tissues and organs are connected to and controlled by your nervous system, which is in turn controlled by your spine. If your spine is not properly aligned, your digestive system cannot function properly either.

Just another benefit of chiropractic care! People who are suffering can find comfort and improvement through the use of chiropractic treatment.
